Typically, they're a great, low-cost way to sample the set, perfect for stocking fillers or small gifts. That said, consider waiting for the initial frenzy to subside before grabbing one. We'll primarily use this price as a benchmark to evaluate the value of other Phantasmal Flames price points.
Phantasmal Flames Booster Box: The King of Bulk

While still slightly inflated, booster box value is looking promising and decreasing as more product becomes available. Compared to buying single booster packs, you'll save almost $240 by purchasing a sealed booster box right now. If your goal is to open a significant portion of the Phantasmal Flames set, this is undoubtedly the best approach. Plus, who wouldn't be thrilled to receive a booster box as a gift? If you're serious about the latest set, a sealed booster box is the way to go.

Better value can be found elsewhere, and the Charcadet promo will likely be available on the secondary marketplace for less than the money you'll save by skipping the ETB.
Phantasmal Flames Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box: For the Dedicated Collector

It pains me to consistently discourage this product in every buying guide because it's undeniably appealing. I just wish the secondary market was more forgiving. They typically sell out instantly due to incredibly high demand and quickly become nearly impossible to find. Honestly, unless you're a hardcore collector with a completionist drive, it's best to avoid the frustration. Keep an eye out for a discounted one or purchase the stamped promo card separately if those items pique your interest.
Phantasmal Flames Booster Bundle: A Balanced Option

$64.75/6 = $10.79 per pack
As expected, a booster bundle clocks in cheaper than purchasing six packs individually, but offers slightly less value than committing to an entire booster box. This is a reasonable place for this product to be. I anticipate it will largely follow general market trends. Booster Bundles tend to hold their value reasonably well, and the Phantasmal Flames set is currently trending downwards leading up to release. Blister pack products typically don't offer an exceptional price-per-pack, and the duo from Phantasmal Flames are slightly more expensive than usual. If you're specifically after either the Sneasel promo or Weavile promo, you're likely better off acquiring those cards separately instead of paying roughly $16 per booster. However, if those promos are appealing, bookmark these products and monitor them closely. I anticipate three-pack blisters will decrease in price relatively quickly, which could transform them into a worthwhile deal after all.

If the Whimsicott promo or Cottonee promo become available for around $15, these blisters suddenly become incredibly valuable. Until then, it's best to skip these and find better value elsewhere.
