Collector Accurate-Tension-599 shared their results on Reddit. Adding the individually listed regular Overframes gives 1,104 cards; the other category totals below come directly from their report.
This is a community account, not an independently verified opening or an official Konami probability table. Our calculations use the 8,400 mini boxes specified in the title and opening summary. The post later says “8,400 packs,” leaving an inconsistency readers should be aware of.
| Reported category | Cards pulled | Cards per 100 mini boxes | Average spacing in this sample |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular Overframes | 1,104 | 13.14 | One per 7.61 mini boxes |
| Starlights | 2,651 | 31.56 | One per 3.17 mini boxes |
| Starlight Overframes | 8 | 0.095 | One per 1,050 mini boxes |
| Grand Master Rares | 0 | 0 observed | Cannot estimate from zero pulls |

Use this table as context when deciding what to buy. The figures measure cards pulled across an opening, rather than the percentage of boxes containing a hit. Calculating that percentage would require a box-by-box record, including any boxes with more than one hit.
The “one per” column divides mini boxes opened by cards reported. It describes average spacing in this sample, not a guaranteed result after a certain number of purchases. A category with no reported pulls also cannot establish that the card is impossible to find.
Konami confirms that each mini box includes:
For collectors drawn to artwork, the set includes extended-art versions of its 18 reimagined anime cards in Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare. Serialized Grand Master Rares offer another collectible version. These are possible finds within the product, not promised contents of an individual box.
Start with what you enjoy collecting: anime-inspired monsters, alternate artwork, or cards to explore for your deck. Then choose an opening budget that suits you. Treat a rare pull as a welcome surprise when deciding whether the package itself appeals to you.
Before checkout, check the product title and contents carefully. A mini box and a larger display are different purchase sizes. Compare the number of mini boxes included and the total price, rather than relying on the word “box” alone.
Have one exact card in mind? Compare the cost of that individual card with the experience of opening randomized product. Choose the option that best matches your collecting goal.
